Zillascher Nachbarschaft

Deutschsanktmichael (Sânmihaiu German / Németszentmihály / Zillasch) liegt links der Bega und rechts des Begakanals. Die Entfernung zum ruhenden Arm der Alten Bega im Norden und zum Kanal im Süden beträgt je ca. 2 km. 

In einem durch den Begakanal nach Süden hin begrenzten Dreiviertelkreis reihen sich folgende Orte um Zillasch: 

• Südwestlich Aurelheim und Uiwar (Neuburg an der Bega) 
• Westlich Tschene
• Nordwestlich Bobda und Klein Bergsau (Nemet)
• Nördlich Großberegsau (Großberksoff, Berksoff)
• Nordöstlich Sackelhausen 
• Östlich Rumänischsanktmichael (Simjel)

Nicht vergessen sei die Erwähnung des verschwundenen Ortes Emlek, welcher zwischen Zillasch und Berksoff lag.

Zu den Orten Diniasch und Paratz, beide links des Begakanals bestand auf Grund der dortigen Getreidemühlen noch bis in die 80er Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts eine rege Beziehung. 

Die folgenden Seiten widme ich den eher unbekannteren jedoch nicht uninteressanteren Nachbarorten. 

Zillasch - Neighborhood

Deutschsanktmichael (Sânmihaiu German / Németszentmihály / Zillasch) is located left of the Bega creek and to the right of the Bega Canal. The distance to the resting arm of the Old Bega in the north and to the canal in the south is about 2 km each. 

In a three-quarter circle bounded by the Bega Canal to the south, the following villages line up around Zillasch: 

• Southwest: Aurelheim (Răuţi) and Uiwar (Neuburg an der Bega / Uivar)
  
• West: Tschene (Cenei)
• Northwest: Bobda and Klein Bergsau (Nemet / Beregsau Mic)
• North: Großberegsau (Großberksoff, Berksoff / Beregsau Mare)
• Northeast: Sackelhausen (Sacalaz)
• East: Romanian St. Michael (Simjel / Sanmihaiu Roman)

Not to forget the mention the disappeared village of Emlek, which was situated between Zillasch and Berksoff.

To the villages of Diniasch / Dinias and Paratz / Parta, both on the left side of the Bega Canal, there was a vital relationship until the 80's of the last century, because of its flour mills.
